In this way, you can also submit requests for inaccessible information and make requests to ensure accessibility
Anyone has the right to request that the digital accessibility of a website, mobile application or some element thereof be ensured. You can also request that the information be made available in alternative forms, such as reading a digitally inaccessible document, describing the contents of a film without audio description, etc. The request should include the details of the person making the request, an indication of which website or mobile application is involved, and a method of contact. If the requesting person reports the need to receive information in an alternative form, they should also specify the form of the information
The public entity should comply with the request immediately, and no later than within 7 days. If this deadline cannot be met, the public entity provides information immediately when it will be possible to comply with the request, with a deadline of no more than 2 months. If accessibility cannot be ensured, the public entity may propose an alternative way to access the information.
If an entity refuses to comply with the request to provide accessibility or alternative access to information, a complaint may be lodged against such action. After all possibilities have been exhausted, the complaint can also be sent to the Polish Ombudsman.
